I was born and raised in the McCarty Community, just a few miles from Pauls Valley. I am the middle daughter of Willard and Vera White. I went to school at McCarty in the first through eighth grade. After this, I went to Elmore City High School where I graduated. Beaty community and McCarty community join each other, therefore, some of the Beaty kids came to McCarty and I have known them, their parents, cousins, aunts, and uncles all my life.
Beaty Baptist Church was in a revival when I was about 8 years old and the the preacher of Beaty Baptist and the evangelist came to visit us at my house. During the visit, the preacher asked if we wanted to pray and ask Jesus into our heart and and my two sisters and I did. I don't know about them, but I was saved that day. We didn't go to church except VBS, where a neighbor would come by and pick us up and took us to Love Baptist Church. Years went by and I am thirteen now, but still we didn't go to church. Then, another neighbor and his wife began taking myself and my two sisters to Elmore First Baptist. I was baptized at First Baptist Elmore City. I then got involved in GA's and went to camp Nunny Chaha where I met my first missionary. In 1995 I joined Beaty Baptist church and been active in Falls Creek and church activities.
I have served as the Secretary of Beaty Baptist since March 8, 2010.
I have four children: Shannon, Quint, Lora, and Brooklyn, who I adopted when she was eight years old, she says she has two birthdays a year. I have 10 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. I live in the Beaty community . I love my Lord, His church, my family, and friends. I enjoy traveling, my friends, and watching Matt Dillon.
On September 15, 2022 I married the love of my life, Calvin DeWitt here at Beaty Baptist church that was full of family and friends and gained an even bigger family. Thank You, God for this new chapter of my life.
